BODY PUMP

 

BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

 

CYCLING

 

Cycling is a high energy 45 minute indoor cycling class led by a motivating instructor and accompanied by the instructor's unique playlist of powerful and energizing music. Cycliing is challenging, fun, and one of the best ways to improve cardiovascular fitness while burning lots of calories. Because Cycling is low impact it is suitable for most people, and our classes can accommodate all ability levels.


BODY COMBAT


BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 740 calories* in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

ZUMBA

 

ZUMBA® is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.


TOTAL BODY CARDIO


This class is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioningworkout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body and improve your endurance. This class is also more commonly known as Insanity and is taught by Stefany Austin.

 

STRONG by ZUMBA

 

Strong by Zumba: With most workout programs, music is an afterthought. The music in STRONG by Zumba™ was crafted to drive the intensity in a challenging progression that provides a total body workout. The result? A group fitness experience like no other.Moving in sync with music makes you work harder. This class will push you past your plateaus to help you reach your fitness goals faster. Using your own body weight, you will gain muscular endurance, tone, and definition, and you will experience an increased afterburn. Here, at MCAC, we teach Strong by Zumba with 2 instructors, to include lower intensity options so there's something for every fitness level 


YOGA VARIATIONS


We offer Yoga Mix & Body Fusion. Our Variations of Yoga mix Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi. Our Yoga Variations focus on strength, flexibility, and controlled breathing. These classes are hour long and are located in Studio 2. 


Healthy Mind & Body w/Janey


Energy Balancing and self healing techniques; various types of stretching, breathing and moving; no aerobics, no impact; feels wonderful and releases stress,aches, pains and tension from the mind and body.


Barre Strength


Barre Strength is a low impact, non-aerobic form of strengthening for Core, Glutes, Hips, & Legs. Small, controlled isolated movements performed in weight bearing will challenge your muscles in a way that you haven't been challenged before! Class ends with core strengthening on the mat with targeted stretching. This workout is appropriate for all fitness levels and is a great compliment to your current workout routine!


Classes are included with any Level memberships. We also offer a punch-card for those who may visit MCAC less frequently. We can't wait to have you sweat with us!
